Waskom Independent School District — Title IX Notice

In accordance with 34 C.F.R. Part 106.8 of the 2020 Title IX Regulations, Waskom
Independent School District provides the following notice regarding its nondiscrimination policy
and grievance procedures related to Title IX.

Waskom ISD does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs or activities,
as required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. This requirement applies to
employment and all district operations.

While K–12 school districts are not subject to Title IX admissions provisions (Subpart C),
Waskom ISD does not discriminate on the basis of sex in admissions or transfer requests.

Any individual may report sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, in person or via
mail, email, or phone at any time, including outside normal business hours. Reports can also be
made directly to the Title IX Coordinator at the email above.
During regular district business hours, reports may be made in person.

Upon receipt of any allegation of sex-based harassment, Waskom ISD will respond promptly and
in accordance with district board policies FFH and DIA.
